F
or more than 60 years the members of Middletown Fire Protection District have proudly served their Eastern Jeferson County community. From our humble beginnings in 1940 as a collection of concerned community leaders who answered a call to serve, to today's force of professional Volunteer and Career members, our dedication to our community hasn't changed.

Of course, the founders of the district would hardly recognize us today. Under the leadership of Chief Donald Brooks we respond to over 1000 calls for service each year from two modern Fire Stations -- 108 Urton Ln (Headquarters) and 10217 Shelbyville Rd. (See map.) Our members are as diverse as our community, including males and females from all walks of life and are the key to our success.

As you click through this site you will find information on every aspect of the MFPD including our Stations, Equipment, Training and Personnel. Please remember that what you see here belongs to the community and we invite you to join us and become the next person to wear the patch.
