Station 1

Construction for this newest Station started in October of 1997 and the District moved-in in December of 1998. This six-bay Station houses 2 Engine Companies, a Quint, a rescue unit, and a field/ brush truck. Staffing comes from a paid crew of 4 firefighters on-duty 24 hours a day 365 days a year along with a volunteer staff of about 15 members. The Chiefs staff, as well as Fire Prevention and Training Personnel also work from this Station.

In addition to space for the apparatus, this station contains offices for the administrative staff, a large training/ community room, two kitchens, 8 dorm rooms, a lounge, a training library, a workout room, the Boards meeting room, and a full size gymnasium. And, yes, we do have a fire pole.
